Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not currently under review by another journal.
  • The manuscript follows the official JDL template and adheres to the journal’s author guidelines.
  • All citations, references, figures, tables, and data are properly formatted and appropriately attributed according to academic standards.
  • The manuscript has been screened for plagiarism, and the similarity index does not exceed 30%.
  • The submission file is in an acceptable format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Full details of all authors (full name, affiliation, and email address) are correctly provided.
  • An abstract (150–250 words) and 3–8 relevant keywords are included.
  • All figures and illustrations are of high resolution and are clearly labeled and numbered.
  • If the manuscript involves human or animal subjects, an appropriate ethics approval statement is included.
  • The authors agree to publish the article under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
  • The authors agree to undergo the peer-review process and are prepared to make revisions based on the editors’ and reviewers’ comments.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of the Indonesian Journal on Learning and Advanced Education (IJOLAE) must be:

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 4000 - 8000 words.
  3. The article must include abstract in English (100-200 words) and be following by the keywords (3-5 words).
  4. Use of a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting. The citation must be in the form of in-text and bibliography are based on APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association)
  5. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the JDL paper template.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper should describe research aims, method/model, and objective, without Acronym or abbreviation.
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has 100 to 200 WORDSNo citation; State in the abstract a primary objectiveresearch designmethodologymain outcomes, and results, and the conclusions.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - Method - Results and Discussion – Conclusion
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 30 references primarily with a minimum of 85% from reputable journal papers.
  5. The manuscript should be checked and edited by an English Language Editor (Proofreader).
